Back in February I called and made reservations for the Peterson Trailer clan in Zions. Little did I know when making the reservations that we would be burying my Grandma at the same time. The day after my grandma's funeral...we hugged my cousins from Seattle goodbye and started on our mad dash to get the trailer loaded for our trip. We were supposed to leave on Thursday, but with Grandma's funeral we were unable to leave until Friday.
It was nice to get on the road and try and relax after hours of packing and days of chaos with family and funerals and such. It was also a good drive to reflect on my grandma's life and the memories I have of growing up, living so close to them.
Zions was a perfect, restful vacation...what more could my boys ask for, than 4 days with their cousins...
We even went hiking...not something that this girl likes to do on vacation...but it was fun and the boys seemed to have a great time. But mostly...it was a laid back, relaxing, no pressure vacation to enjoy in our trailer.
Here are some photo ops...side note: my camera was dead Easter morning...thus no Easter pictures...I used Heather's camera but have not gotten those from her yet...
And here are the Peterson Grandsons...eight of them...8 Grandsons...NO GIRLS!!! And if you asked the boys...they would say NO GIRLS ALLOWED!!! I love this photo....
Obviously, no Easter trip is complete without dying Easter eggs outside the trailers and playing baseball, lacrosse, riding bikes and just hanging out...
On Easter Sunday we went to Ty's Aunt Dorothy's house and had lunch with MOST of Ty's family. Ty's cousins from Las Vegas came up and it was fun to see them and their cute families. We did an Easter egg hunt with all the children and it was fun to visit and catch up those that we don't see very often.
We had a great time and can't wait to go in our trailer again...
