Tate and Davis both played baseball this year...but instead of posting about it...I just sat back and enjoyed it, and it was a crazy spring with both involved. Davis played his first year at machine pitch...and it was...well...painful... Not because of Davis but because the Bingham league has it set up to play a 1/2 year machine pitch, 1/2 kid pitch... which means for the last half of the year it was AWFUL!!! The pitchers could hardly get it across the plate, but they couldn't walk anybody...and none of the hitters rarely struck out...anticipating the fact that their coach would come in and pitch to them after 5 pitches... so it took FOREVER!!! There were a number of games that Davis got up to bat 1...ONE...UNO times to bat...not so fun!!! By the end of the year Davis told us that he didn't want to play baseball next year!!! But he certainly looked cute in his uniform and he loved being as big as Tate...something he has been anticipating for years!!! And he did tell me the other day thaaaatt...he might play baseball next year!!!
